Create An Ancient Mesopotamia Journal
Pretend that you are living in ancient Mesopotamia. Imagine what your daily life would have been. Using the writing process, describe your 'pretend' life in a series of journal entries. Decide if you want to cover all the days in a week or less frequent stories over a longer time frame. You must have proper spelling, grammar, and vocabulary before publishing.
Journal Rubric
_______ (10) Booklet format – pages attached neatly
_______ (10) Pictures for each journal entry. Can either be hand drawn or printed from the Internet
_______ (80) Minimum 8 dated thoughtful entries written incomplete sentences. Pages must be in legible handwriting or typed with proper spelling, grammar and vocabulary. (100 word minimum)
***Must also turn in your prewriting, drafts, revision, and editing stages before publishing.***
